This 38-pin OBD2 adapter for Mercedes Benz vehicles will allow you to use your iCarsoft diagnostic tool on vehicles that are not equipped with a standard 16-pin OBD2 socket.
Indeed, on older vehicles, you may find a different format of diagnostic socket.
To connect to these types of vehicles that do not have an OBD2 socket, simply connect the OBD2 socket on your iCarsoft diagnostic case to the Mercedes 38-pin adapter and then insert the adapter into the diagnostic socket on your car.
This adapter can also be used with other brands of diagnostic tools or car diagnostic tools. Just check that your car diagnostic tool is compatible with OBD to OBD2 adapters.
